As part of ongoing efforts to enhance services provided to People of Determination, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NMC Healthcare Group


To designate NMC’s hospitals and clinics as healthcare centers for psychological, neurological, and family counseling services.



As part of ongoing efforts to enhance services provided to People of Determination, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with NMC Healthcare Group to designate the group’s hospitals and clinics as one of the healthcare centers to which the organization will refer beneficiaries. These centers will provide psychological, neurological, and family counseling services, as well as conduct comprehensive evaluations for those in need. Additionally, the agreement includes training for NMC staff and affiliated entities on best practices for delivering healthcare services to People of Determination.

The Memorandum of Understanding and partnership agreement was signed on behalf of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination by H.E. Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of the organization, and on behalf of NMC Healthcare Group by Mr. David Hadley, the Group CEO. The signing ceremony took place at the organization's headquarters, attended by a number of senior officials from both entities.

Under the Memorandum of Understanding, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and NMC Healthcare Group commit to discussing the design, development, and potential future implementation of constructive, preventive, and therapeutic health programs in the field of mental health for the organization’s beneficiaries. The agreement also includes exploring opportunities for conducting joint scientific research and studies in the fields of rehabilitation and disability sciences, as well as the possibility of conducting joint training for the rehabilitation teams of both parties through training courses, lectures, and continuing education programs to ensure mutual staff development.

NMC Healthcare Group, for its part, commits to exploring the possibility of conducting research studies related to neurological and psychological aspects concerning Zayed Higher Organization’s beneficiaries. The group will also strive to assist the organization by referring beneficiaries with severe psychological disorders to its hospitals to provide them with necessary healthcare services. Additionally, the group will consider employing People of Determination in roles suited to their capabilities as needed, utilizing comprehensive assessment tools as determined by the group, and sharing expertise with the organization in this field. Furthermore, NMC will explore conducting research studies on neurological and psychological aspects relevant to the organization’s beneficiaries, offering awareness workshops for the organization’s employees on stress management and coping with workplace fatigue, and evaluating the possibility of holding an annual conference in collaboration with Zayed Higher Organization.

His Excellency Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, expressed his appreciation for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with NMC Assetco Limited, one of the largest private healthcare networks in the country, renowned for providing high-quality and specialized healthcare services. He praised the group’s outstanding initiatives, describing them as a model for serving the community. He stated: “This agreement reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to delivering the best services and support to its beneficiaries across various categories of People of Determination, while also enhancing their capabilities and skills.

He added, “The signing of this memorandum is a significant step toward achieving our comprehensive vision of enhancing and improving the quality of life for People of Determination. It reflects a sincere commitment to elevating the level of services provided to them, ensuring equal opportunities for their integration into society, and enabling them to realize their aspirations. This strategic partnership marks a new addition to the organization’s record of accomplishments in the field of supporting People of Determination.”

The Secretary-General of the Zayed Higher Organization emphasized the importance of the private sector's role in supporting government efforts to achieve the social and economic integration of People of Determination. He added that the NMC Group has demonstrated, through this memorandum, its commitment and desire to play its part in social responsibility and contribute to achieving the goals and strategies of the organization.

For his part, Mr. David Hadley, CEO of the NMC Healthcare Group, confirmed that the collaboration with Zayed Higher Organization marks the beginning of a movement that will set new standards for inclusivity and excellence in healthcare, and is a bold and necessary step toward transforming the way healthcare is delivered in the UAE.
