As part of its strategic partnerships aimed at bringing specialized services closer to the local community, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO), in collaboration with Nobel Medical Center and with the support of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), has inaugurated the first early autism classroom for children at the Family Development Center – Al Hayer Branch.

On its first day, the classroom welcomed three children with autism from families residing in Al Shuwaib, Al Hayer, and Nahil. The initiative seeks to enable families to follow up on their children’s progress in an integrated educational and therapeutic environment close to their homes, thereby enhancing social stability and reducing the burdens associated with long commutes.

The new classroom provides comprehensive programs that include individualized education, modern therapeutic methods, and continuous medical supervision by Nobel Medical Center’s professionals. It also offers gradual inclusion programs to integrate children into educational and social settings, in addition to psychological and social support services directed at families. An introductory meeting was held with parents to present details of the programs and distribute a comprehensive guide outlining children’s rights and the mechanisms for accessing services.

This initiative represents a pioneering model of community partnership, combining Zayed Higher Organization’s institutional expertise in caring for People of Determination with Nobel Medical Center’s advanced medical specialization. It opens new horizons for children with autism to actively integrate into society and strengthens the path of social empowerment across the northern sector of Al Ain City.
