Nasser bin Hamad: Bahrain-Emirates cooperation has become more developed and prosperous



In the spirit of cooperation and the embodiment of the fruitful relations between Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and the Royal Federation of Equestrian and Endurance Racing in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain, the Foundation renewed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Federation to enhance institutional communication and build effective strategic partnerships that support the services of people of determination in the two brotherly countries, where the exchange and transfer of experiences between the two sides, and contribute to the rehabilitation of children from the category of autism disorder through horse riding sports, through the implementation of a number of programs, visits and joint activities.


Signed the Memorandum of Understanding on the Zayed Higher Foundation for the People of Determination His Excellency/Abdullah Abdul Humaidan, Secretary General of the Foundation, and on the Royal Federation of Bahrain Equestrian and Power Races His Highness Sheikh Issa bin Abdullah bin Issa Al Khalifa, President of the Federation. A number of the leaders of the Foundation attended the signing ceremony that took place via video communication and from the Bahraini Federation, Ghalib Mokhtar Al-Alawi, Secretary of the Federation, Dr. Khalid Ahmed Hassan, Assistant Secretary of the Federation, Tawfiq Al-Salhi, Chairman of the Media and Public Relations Committee, Haya Jamal Al-Kuwari, supervisor of the Training Program for Children of Autism, and Haider Zoubi, CEO of the Federation


Under the Memorandum of Understanding, practical experiences and field visits are exchanged between the Foundation and the Federation, coordination of events and activities involving students in the two countries, organization of practical field and virtual courses in the field of riding therapy for people with autism spectrum disorder, cooperation in the exchange of information, scientific knowledge, studies and experiences to improve the level of benefit of the beneficiaries of that service and improve its quality.


Joint work is under way between Zayed Higher Organization and the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Racing Federation to determine the specifications and competencies necessary for horses used in the service of riding therapy, improve their efficiency and production capacity and reduce the cost of their care as much as possible, as well as coordinate awards and competitions for the participation of students with autism spectrum disorder and their families in the field of horseback riding therapy and horseback riding activity, and conduct specialized studies in this field in cooperation with universities and specialists in the two countries, with the help of experts specialized in autism in the State of Bahrain. And in the UAE to consult them and provide opinion and suggestions in the field



His Highness Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representing His Majesty the King for Humanitarian and Youth Affairs, affirmed that cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates has become more developed and prosperous in various fields under the guidance of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, may God protect him, and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect him. His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates always strive to consolidate this cooperation in various fields, including humanitarian aspects, and to harness sport in order to achieve great humanitarian objectives that cherish noble goals to the society in both countries.



His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa commended the renewal of the Agreement between the Royal Federation of Equestrian and Endurance Racing and the Zayed Higher Foundation for People of Determination in the United Arab Emirates aimed at continuing to achieve constructive cooperation in the field of humanitarian work and the rehabilitation of children with autism.



His Highness said: "Bahrain-UAE cooperation in the field of caring for autistic children has reached the stage of integration and strategic partnership through the signing of this Agreement, which comes in continuation of the close cooperation between the two sides, and we view this Agreement with great optimism in achieving the humanitarian goals for which it was created in supporting and rehabilitating children with autism."



His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa added: " The Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates always have the precedence to do good and support humanitarian cases, which is evident through this Agreement. It will seek to build bridges and cooperation to rehabilitate this group, dear to all of us, and provide them with the ideal environment to continue their rehabilitation in the correct scientific ways."



For his part, His Excellency Abdullah Abdulali Al-Humaidan, Secretary General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, welcomed the signing of a new memorandum of understanding between the Foundation and the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Racing Federation, which supervises and is responsible for all equestrian activities, games and events in the Kingdom, and said that the Foundation seeks to extend bridges of cooperation and exchange of experiences with all relevant authorities at all levels locally, regionally and internationally in order to benefit from the experiences on the widest scale for the benefit of our members of determination, through the exchange of Visits between officials, researchers and interested parties and joint cooperation in the fields of training, rehabilitation and all activities.



He stressed that the signing of the memorandum of understanding comes under the supervision and follow-up of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, as an embodiment of bilateral integration and successful strategic partnership between institutions in the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain in several fields, and convinced by both parties of the directives of the State and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aimed at encouraging and extending social, humanitarian and national work and activating partnership in topics of common interest between them, in order to achieve their common goals, and enhance the role of each other in Serving the UAE and Bahraini communities.



His Excellency Abdullah Al-Humaidan thanked all officials of the Royal Bahrain Equestrian and Endurance Racing Federation, headed by His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the Federation, for their fruitful cooperation with Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, explaining that the aim of the renewal of the memorandum of understanding is the Foundation's keenness to continue joint work with the Federation and open new areas to benefit from joint administrative and technical expertise, and transfer the expertise of the institution's cadres specialized in the use of horses to qualify people of determination, especially those with autism.
