The Bee Products: A Noble Initiative from Abu Dhabi to Raise Awareness of the Abilities and Capabilities of People of Determination

From Abu Dhabi, the members of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination have gifted a variety of handmade products to several artists who support the empowerment of people of determination worldwide. This initiative reflects their appreciation and pride in the support provided by art to people of determination, and it aims to communicate with creatives and showcase their abilities and capabilities through presenting unique and distinguished products, raising awareness and appreciation for what they offer.

This initiative by Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination follows the support received from artists for the talents of people of determination as part of the specialized training program of the organization’s unique initiative, "Gifted Determination," which is part of the organization's strategy to support people of determination. The aim is to create an inclusive environment for them and involve them in various fields, thereby solidifying Abu Dhabi’s leading position in empowering people of determination as integral members of society.

The artists expressed great happiness, pride, and appreciation for this wonderful initiative, which delighted them. They conveyed their thanks and a message to all people of determination and their families, acknowledging that they are indeed capable of being an essential and vital part of community development. They praised the quality of the products and the outstanding production by people of determination, capable of competing in the market.

The products, crafted with the effort and hope of people of determination, include a variety of items such as bags, sports scarves, chocolates, cheese products, and flower bouquets for marketing within the community. These products carry a genuine message and confirmation of the skills and manufacturing expertise of people of determination, producing high-quality products with a profound message of their limitless capabilities. They have proven their competence in delivering high-quality, professionally made products.

It is noteworthy that Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has developed and launched a series of workshops and training programs for individuals over the age of eighteen. These programs provide real job opportunities in collaboration with private sector partners, offering numerous sustainable production lines. They have also established a certified brand for these products, "The Bee," aiming to enter the production market and compete in the local market. Additionally, the organization prepares and qualifies the people of determination under its care to integrate them into society and transform them into positive contributors to the development process.

Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination is also working on rehabilitating speech therapy centers across various governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt, reaching a total of 78 centers. This is part of a partnership and cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports under the "Bridges of Hope Holding" program, supported by "Holding Company" (ADQ). The project aims to develop skills for individuals with autism spectrum disorder, speech delays, speech disorders, hyperactivity disorder, attention deficit disorder, and learning difficulties, and to modify behavior through speech therapy and skill development sessions to empower people of determination for social integration.

The centers have been equipped with the latest tools and devices to provide speech therapy, behavior modification, skill development, learning difficulties, and sensory integration. Additionally, psychological assessments are conducted, and personal interviews for a number of young, specialized candidates for positions as specialists in these centers have been completed. The establishment of 30 additional speech therapy centers is scheduled to be completed by the end of the current year, 2024.
