In parallel with the Year of Sustainability, and at the sewing workshops of the care and rehabilitation centers of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, bags of different shapes were sewn by females of determination by recycling fabrics and materials for products that can be reused by the public, to be donated to the Sheikha Fatima Fund for Refugee Women (FRM), in support of refugee women and to meet their daily needs.

In parallel with the Year of Sustainability, and at the sewing workshops of the care and rehabilitation centers of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, bags of different shapes were sewn by females of determination by recycling fabrics and materials for products that can be reused by the public, to be donated to the Sheikha Fatima Fund for Refugee Women (FRM), in support of refugee women and to meet their daily needs.

Her Excellency Minister of State, Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, appreciated this initiative which contributes to achieving its humanitarian and development goals and purposes, in cooperation with ZHO, by supporting the efficiency and participation of people of determination in the key forums, and by engaging females of determination in the UAE's efforts, upon the directives of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak Al Ketbi, Chairwoman of the General Women's union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood (SCMC), and President of the Family Development Foundation (FDF).

Dr. Maitha emphasized the importance of consolidating the culture of sustainability and the participation of women of concern in supporting displaced women and in providing daily needs, reflecting cooperation between agencies and institutions at the local, regional and international levels, because of its impact both in applying the mechanisms of sustainability and achieving its effects on individuals and societies. FRM reinforces Sheikha Fatima's continued efforts to empower refugee women economically and socially", she said, noting that Sheikha Fatima's initiatives of supporting refugees made her at the forefront of supporters of their conditions, humanitarian issues and capabilities.

For his part, ZHO's Secretary-General, His Excellency Abdullah Abdul Ali Al Humaidan, hailed Sheikha Fatima's humanitarian attitudes, voicing his thanks and gratitude to Her Highness for supporting and encouraging citizens in various fields, especially category sponsored by ZHO. He also lauded her prominent role in supporting ZHO's humanitarian activities. ZHO's SG also voiced his happiness for females of determination's engagement in the humanitarian efforts made by the UAE to support refugee women.

Her Highness is a symbol of unlimited humanitarian giving not only at the state level, but also at both regional and international levels, Al Humaidan said, stressing her pioneering role in adopting core humanitarian issues, and thanked Dr. Maitha for her follow-up and around-the-clock support for ZHO's different projects and programs.
