On the occasion of the International Day of Human Fraternity, such historic declaration which was witnessed by the capital Abu Dhabi on the 4th of February 2019, by signing the document on “Human Fraternity”, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) brought together students of determination of 25 various nationalities of the age category of 10 to 14 years with ZHO’s people of determination and students of a number of schools and care & rehabilitation centers into a social entertainment program, in a sublime humanitarian message being delivered by ZHO as a part of the objectives and principles of the document, in cooperation and partnership with Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG), the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, and the Muslim Council of Elders.

ZHO Brings Together Students of Determination of 25 Nationalities for Spreading the Spirit of Cooperation, Love & Peace in Human Relations


On the occasion of the International Day of Human Fraternity, such historic declaration which was witnessed by the capital Abu Dhabi on the 4th of February 2019, by signing the document on “Human Fraternity”, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination (ZHO) brought together students of determination of 25 various nationalities of the age category of 10 to 14 years with ZHO’s people of determination and students of a number of schools and care & rehabilitation centers into a social entertainment program, in a sublime humanitarian message being delivered by ZHO as a part of the objectives and principles of the document, in cooperation and partnership with Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG), the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity, and the Muslim Council of Elders.

This initiative, which was held at ZHO’s sports hall, takes place as a continuation of ZHO’s message in support of the efforts for the prevalence of the values of the document on human fraternity, for the motivation of human coexistence and fraternity and the enhancement of the role of the people of determination in spreading the spirit of cooperation, love and peace in human relations, and the unification of their humanitarian role amongst all different cultures and religions.

ZHO undertook a group of activities, in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi School of Government, as part of efforts to promote social integration. Such activities included playing the “ladder & snake” game, drawing “love brings us together” painting, and the activity titled “share gifts to love each other more” for all students, along with various sport and leisure activities. A group photo was taken for participants in front of the “love brings us together” painting, in emphasis of the noble objectives of this day.

H.E. Abdullah Abdul Aali Al Humeidan, ZHO’s Secretary-General, said: “On this day, adopted by the United Nations, ZHO is keen to hold activities and celebrations, in emphasis of that our people of determination are ambassadors of human fraternity. We work for their empowerment and integration into the society so that they would deliver a message of love and peace for human good and happiness, while they take part in the values of the document on human fraternity.”

He adds: “We, at ZHO, have chosen this year to deliver humanitarian message by the integration of young children for the instilment of love and fraternity amongst human beings throughout the upcoming generations. The idea of the attraction of the students of determination of various nationalities, races and cultures into a single platform is an expression of the objectives of human fraternity in the course of the celebration of the international day of human fraternity, in an actual implementation of the principles of the document, which contribute to deepening the principles of proper behavior, and avoiding biasedness, intolerance and violence amongst human beings, as this day is a powerful opportunity for all of us to celebrate our shared values of accepting others, openness, sympathy and showing love to everybody without discrimination.

H.E. Abdullah Al Humeidan thanked the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity and its Secretary-General, Counselor Mohammed Abdul Salam, for their cooperation with ZHO for the adoption of the event. He also thanked ADSG and the schools, care & rehabilitation centers, integration schools, parents and families for their fruitful cooperation for the success of the event.

He noted: “ZHO had cooperated in the past with the Higher Committee of Human Fraternity for raising the awareness of the people of determination in different countries of the world of the document on human fraternity which was issued by the “Global Conference of Human Fraternity”, by its conversion into texts recorded in Arabic sign language for the deaf in cooperation with the UAE Deaf Association, and its translation into Braille language in Arabic, English and Italian for the blind. 100 copies of such document were printed for the delivery of the document’s message calling for tolerance, cooperation and living together to all the categories of the society, including the people of determination, in different countries of the world. Furthermore, 100 copies were given as a gift to Al Azhar Al Sharif Library in the Egyptian Arab Republic. Another 100 copies were given as a gift to the Vatican’s Library in Rome. ZHO inaugurated a garden that carries the slogan of human fraternity, with the presence of a number of the people of determination of all nationalities, as an expression of solidarity amongst the people of the world on the land of the UAE.”

His Excellency Dr. Yasir Ahmed Al Naqbi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi School of Government, said: “We are proud to cooperate with the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination to organize this event that united young people of determination from different nationalities, races and cultures. Our participation in this event comes in line with our efforts to support the humanitarian message of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, and to support the efforts that focus on spreading the values of the Human Fraternity Document and promoting a culture of mutual respect, tolerance, brotherhood and coexistence among the various members of society”.
