Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has announced the launch of the assessment and diagnosis service to evaluate cases at Al Dhafra Hospital in Al Dhafra City, Al Dhafra Region, in cooperation and coordination with ADNOC. The aim is to facilitate people of determination's access to comprehensive diagnostic services according to the organization's practices and to diagnose people of determination in Abu Dhabi Emirate according to a unified mechanism approved by the organization.
This was announced during the celebration held yesterday (Friday) at Al Dhafra Hospital, attended by His Excellency Abdullah Al Hameedan, Secretary-General of the organization, His Excellency Saeed Salem Al Mazrouei, Executive Director of Citizens Affairs Sector at the Office of the Governor's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, His Excellency Abdullah Al Kamali, Executive Director of People of Determination Sector Nafi Al Hammadi, the Executive Director of Support Services Sector at Zayed Higher Organization, Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Director of Community Development and Support Department at the Office of the Governor's Representative in Al Dhafra Region, Dr. Ghawiya Al Neyadi, Senior Vice President of Medical Services at ADNOC Group, Mr. Mubarak Al Mehrebi, Senior Vice President of Administrative Affairs for the Group and Community Services, Dr. Khaled Kayed, General Manager of Al Dhafra Hospital, Dr. Omar Al Hammadi, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Omar Al Marzouqi, Medical Director of Al Dhafra Hospital, Mr. Nasser Umaira, Senior Vice President of Verotel, Dr. Tamer El-Sayed, Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist, and a number of people of determination and their guardians.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Hameedan emphasized that Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination believes in the inevitability and necessity of constructive cooperation between its centers and centers providing services to people of determination, including hospitals, because this cooperation serves the interests of both parties and their common goals in empowering people of determination and making them active individuals in society.
In his speech during the announcement of the launch of the service, he said: "Today, we are pleased to crown those efforts, and this shared desire to provide diagnostic and assessment services at Al Dhafra Hospital. This contributes to facilitating the access of families and people of determination to comprehensive diagnostic services according to the practices of the organization and ensures the diagnosis of people of determination in Abu Dhabi Emirate according to a unified mechanism approved by the organization." He pointed out that this initiative contributes to achieving accurate diagnosis by providing various medical specialties and psychological educational diagnostic staff under one umbrella.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Hameedan thanked ADNOC, the strategic partner of the organization, and the management of Al Dhafra Hospital for their outstanding cooperation in the initiative. He also thanked Dr. Ghawiya Al Neyadi, Senior Vice President of Medical Services for ADNOC Group, and her team, wishing that everyone's efforts would be successful, and that the desired goals of launching this service would be achieved, contributing to providing the best means of care and rehabilitation for various categories of people of determination, especially those residing in the Al Dhafra region.
The project provides the service to the residents of the Al Dhafra region according to the directives of the wise leadership, aiming to provide comprehensive diagnostic services in hospitals for all areas of Al Dhafra and its hospitals. This permanent presence of the service in hospitals facilitates early detection of disabilities and easy access for families to services in their place of residence, as well as accurate diagnosis for people of determination linked to medical specialties and the development of diagnostic and detection mechanisms for disabilities by linking them to medical causes in accordance with the regulations of the organization.
The importance of the project
The project ensures the accuracy of diagnosing cases of people of determination by providing diverse medical and psychological educational specialties under one umbrella in all regions of the country and optimizing human and spatial resources in Al Dhafra. The project works on covering the shortage of specialties in comprehensive assessment in the Al Dhafra region (such as neurology specialists, orthopedic specialists, genetic and hereditary disease specialists, and hearing and vision specialists). It also aims to optimize human and spatial resources in Al Dhafra. The initiative is considered an accelerator for the unified assessment project in the Emirate and linking diseases to disabilities to apply the scenario and develop proactive activities to achieve the goal.
Targeted Categories:
The project targets all cases of newborns and suspected vaccinations with disabilities, and transfers the diagnostic report based on medical reasons to our destination system at the institution. It also includes all cases transferred from the comprehensive assessment department to the joint system between the two parties. Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has transferred its experience in comprehensive assessment to the assessment department at Al Dhafra Hospital. Additionally, it has commenced training for 7 specialists on the mechanisms, policies, and exhausting diagnostic and assessment methods in the institution, with the training program nearing completion.
