In support of qualitative development in the relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt, and to achieve the vision of the state and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to build bridges of cooperation and exchange experiences with all relevant authorities at local, regional and global levels, Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports to optimize the support provided to families of people of determination through family counseling programs, and to share knowledge through the Bridges of Hope Program offered by the organization, in addition to Cooperation between them in the fields of sports, culture, rehabilitation and any other fields in the future
The signing ceremony of the memorandum of understanding between the two entities was held remotely, through visual communication technology and was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhi Amer, Minister of Youth for the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, His Excellency Dr. Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, the country's ambassador to the Republic of Egypt, and His Excellency Sherif Mohamed Fouad Al-Badiwi, the Egyptian Ambassador to the UAE. The MOU was signed by His Excellency Abdullah Abdulalee Al Humaidan, Secretary General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, and Ashraf Saleh, Executive Director of the Egyptian Ministry Minister of Youth, in the presence of a number of leaders of the organization and the Egyptian Ministry of Youth.
His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports, praised the cooperation with the UAE in the fields of youth and sports within the framework of the distinguished relations between the two countries, extending his thanks and appreciation to Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination for this cooperation, adding that the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports cooperates extensively with authorities and institutions to serve children and youth through the implementation of a range of programs and projects.
The Minister of Youth and Sports emphasized Egypt's interest in facilitating the inclusion of people of determination in various activities and projects in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to support them, meet their needs, and integrate them into society, pointing out that people of determination are distinguished by their persistence in overcoming challenges and their unique accomplishments in various fields.
His Excellency Dr. Hamad Saeed Al Shamsi, the country's Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its representative to the Arab League, expressed his happiness for the cooperation between Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, represented by the signing of the memorandum of understanding, saying that the cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Republic of Egypt is a historical and strategic fraternal relationship based on trust, understanding and a shared vision, and is considered a model for relations between the two countries.
His Excellency also stated that this relationship comes as a result of the culture of cooperation established between the two countries and their peoples, by the nation's founding father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, "May God rest his soul."
The Ambassador honored the occasion and the success of Emirati-Egyptian relations in all fields thanks to the common vision of the leadership of the two countries, praising the modern urban renaissance in Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, according to the country's strategic vision for economic growth and sustainable development.
Ambassador Sherif Al-Badiwi, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the UAE, expressed his pride at the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports and Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, praising the role of the two entities in promoting initiatives aimed at empowering people of determination and their families and enhancing their role in community development. The Egyptian Ambassador highlighted the role of Zayed Higher Organization in enhancing cooperation between Egypt and the Emirates in this field, and praised the relations between the two countries and the two peoples under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi and His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, pointing out that this remarkable relationship is a model for international relations based on mutual respect and cooperation between countries and citizens.
His Excellency the Egyptian Ambassador also praised the role of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination in the field of community awareness of the importance of integrating people of determination into society through the development of special programs that work to develop their capabilities and highlight their talents through integrated development systems, noting also the endeavors of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Egypt to develop and implement national skill development programs for people of determination, and helping their families in facilitating their empowerment and ability to overcome challenges, expressing his aspiration for enhanced cooperation between the two entities toward strengthening these efforts further.
His Excellency Ambassador Sherif Al-Bedaiwi expressed his appreciation for the illustrated artistic work "Long Live Egypt" presented in sign language by the people of determination from Zayed Higher Organization, which he considered a representation of the love and appreciation that the Emirati people hold for Egypt and its people and expressed his aspiration to further develop relations between the two countries, reflecting the depth of fraternal relations, mutual respect, and appreciation.
His Excellency Abdullah Abdulalee Al Humaidan, Secretary General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, expressed his happiness at the formalization of the cooperation between the organization and the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, the terms of which include knowledge sharing with the ministry from the organization's specialists toward raising awareness and educating families and parents of people of determination in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This knowledge sharing aims to equip families with the skills to deal with the challenges they face with their children and to provide them with basic behavior management skills, facilitating their children's educational, professional, cultural, and social development.
In a press statement, he praised the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, may God protect him, and his brother His Excellency President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, may God protect him, saying: “Emirati-Egyptian relations are historic. They are strategic, and God willing, they will continue long into our future, not only between our leaders, but also between our people, because the two peoples, Emiratis and the Egyptians, are linked by strong ties of love, mutual respect and brotherhood.
He affirmed the appreciation of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination for the efforts of the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, headed by His Excellency Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, the Egyptian Minister of Youth, underlining that it is these efforts that will effectively contribute to serving people of determination, develop their skills, promote their social inclusion, and allow them to become a productive workforce and participate in building our society.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Humaidan explained that Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination seeks to build bridges of cooperation and exchange experiences with entities at local, regional and international levels in order to gain access to a vast and varied wealth of knowledge for the benefit of people of determination and their families. He referred to the artistic work "Long Live Egypt" presented in sign language by the people of determination from Zayed Higher Organization, developed with the support of the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports, as a representation of love and appreciation for the Arab Republic of Egypt, and a message personifying the fraternal relationship between the two countries, it's rich history and the strong leadership upon which it is based, for Egypt is the heart of the Arab world.
