Former international football player for the Al Wahda Football Club Ahmed Al-Akbari, and coach of the emerging football team for the hearing impaired at Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, has passed the unique "kick-off" training program organized by the Emirates Football Association, becoming the first person of determination to obtain the D license, to provide training approved by the AFC, securing his career as a coach and becoming an inspiration to all of us.
The triple training program (kick-off), the first of its kind in the region for a triple license, includes three main axes, namely the D training license, the child protection program, and the first aid license. It also qualifies participants to automatically register for the AFC C training license. The program relies to a large extent on electronic classes that can be accessed via the e-learning platform.
The program includes several axes, the most important of which is the definition of the importance of training programs for youth and the definition of football association projects for youth, goalkeeper programs, nutrition, football rules and physical training for young players, in addition to the integrated child protection program. This program comes within the efforts of the UAE Football Association to establish development and training programs that contribute to enriching and developing the training field in the country, as it provides an opportunity for coaches and those wishing to register to benefit from obtaining basic football training licenses in order deliver the highest levels of training.
His Excellency Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination praised the determination of Ahmed Al Akbari and his keenness to secure his coaching qualification by joining the training program to obtain a D training license, allowing him to coach and lead the junior football team for the hearing impaired in the organization, adding to his extensive experience as a professional football player for Al Wahda Football Club.
He stressed that Al Akbari is a role-model of true determination in the face of challenges, continually striving to develop his training capabilities. He will be an invaluable asset to the sports sector at Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, which depends on distinguished sporting competencies in order to effectively contribute to the coaching and training of people of determination to participate and compete in local, regional and international sports events and competitions, representing the UAE and honoring our nation from the winner's podiums.
His Excellency the Secretary General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination stressed that the organization supports its affiliates of determination in securing training and certification that meets their individual aspirations. Ahmed Al-Akbari will be attached within the professional diploma program to qualify trainers in the field of education and training for people of determination based on national qualifications programs, as the first specialized educational program, the first of its kind in the country and at the Arab region, so that the institution guarantees that Ahmed will be specialized and professional in the field in which he will be working at from the beginning.
Individuals who are enrolled in this diploma program receive theoretical and practical education to ensure that the graduate knows the details of his job and its tasks and when dealing with people of determination.
His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Hazam Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the UAE Football Association, affirmed the association's keenness to support people of determination, through the establishment and organization of various training courses, whether administrative or technical specializations, in order to certify them and secure their presence in the football community. Bin Hazam Al Dhaheri indicated that the Emirates Football Association, during the exceptional circumstances the world is witnessing due to the Covid 19 pandemic, organized a large number of “remote" training workshops for people of determination, which included the participation of a group of trainers and specialized lecturers. These training programs allowed us the honor of ensuring the provision of suitable conditions for people of determination to practice their activities and hobbies and gain more experiences that facilitate them in fulfilling their role in society and in sports.
